My grandparents spent most of their lives on this property. Prior to their deaths, they sold the farm to the county to make it a green space for everyone to enjoy after they passed away. I hope you enjoy the area of Leister Park as much as I did growing up spending summers on their farm. If you try really hard, you might still smell the cows and the hay…
The cache is a camo’d Lock-N-Lock box with a few things farm related, a few things from our native North Carolina and a few from Hampstead. Rated 2.5 terrain for the hike it takes to get to the cache site.
