Geocache Description:

A nice, easy, kid-friendly visit to Klehm Park in Arlington Heights, IL.

This is an easy one. It's a camouflaged 35mm film canister with a log. So bring your own pencil. Tried the coordinates a few times so it should be right on.
Klehm Park is located in Arlington Heights, Illinois, north of Euclid Avenue. You can find it at the corners of Wilshire Avenue and Hawthorne Street. Klehm Park is a small community park with a playground and basketball court.

Park History: Klehm Park was named after Henry Klehm, one of the first commisioners of the Arlington Heights Park District and son of German potato farmer John Klehm who immigrated to the United States in 1849 near Buffalo, New York. John Klehm then moved to Arlington Heights, IL (then known as Dunton) in 1853 and bought land to grow potatoes and eventually fruit trees. Over four thousand maple and elm trees were donated by Klehm to the residents of Arlington Heights in an effort to beautify the area.
