fraxinus excelsior Multi-Cache

The cache hunt starts at the Ossiacher Tauernteich.
You can park your car here (you must take a gravel road to arrive at Stage 1).
You don't have to know latin to find the cache. But you better are familiar with roman numerals !
It will take you about half an hour to answer all the questions and to arrive at the final coordinates.

Stage 1:
N1 = 46°40.171
E1 = 014°00.032
A = number of kilometers to Ossiach (along the road)

Stage 2:
N2 = 46°40.285
E2 = 014°00.376
B = convert the roman date into decimal notation and then calculate the crossfoot

Stage 3:
N3 = 46°40.193
E3 = 014°00.140
C = number of wooden steps

Final:
N = N3 + C + 1
E = E3 - (B-A)




Ausgangspunkt der Suche ist der Ossiacher Tauernteich.
Parkmöglichkeit vorhanden (Zufahrt ist nur über Schotterstraße möglich).
Um den cache zu finden sind keine Lateinkenntnisse nötig - die lateinischen Zahlen sollte man jedoch kennen ... Gesamtdauer ca. 30min.

A = Anzahl der Straßenkilometer nach Ossiach

Stage 2:
N2 = 46°40.285
E2 = 014°00.376
B = bringe das lateinische Datum in Dezimaldarstellung und berechne die Quersumme

Stage 3:
N3 = 46°40.193
E3 = 014°00.140
C = Anzahl der Holzstufen

Final:
N = N3 + C + 1
E = E3 - (B-A)
