About 2.4 miles round trip from parking, more so from other areas.
On A Rail Trail Along the Sacramento River.Nicely Paved.
Water will be required on the warmer days.
Vary peaceful walk. May be Lots 'O' Wild Life in this area.
Bring your camera too.
We saw 2 deer swimming across the river while going out to this cache.
Area is NOT available 24/7 see Photo of DAY USE sign.
Use of Firearms IS ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED
'Authorized Dam Passage' is Required, for easy access. All that is needed is valid drivers license and vehicle registration! NO FEE required.
Dam Transit time is limited; 6AM to 10 PM daily
In your car or on your motorcycle.
However, you may Hike or Bike.
Access from areas other than crossing the dam is available.
