This roadside attraction is located along the old Seward Highway near a pull-over rest area created from the old road itself. It will give you a chance to stretch your legs a bit and see some beautiful vegetation. This road used to have several winding turns in this area and a few years back it was straightened and much of the old road was incorporated into bike trails, rest area, and camping areas.
The hide may be winterable for the hearty adventurous as not many of the pull-over areas are plowed in the winter.
Enjoy the short hike in the woods.
