Geocache Description:

Having visited several Major League Ballparks, we realised that many have associated geocaches. Until now, Roger’s Centre (previously known as Skydome) and the Blue Jays are sorely lacking in this respect. The placement of this geocache corrects this heinous oversight!

There’s not much more to say, really. Go to the posted coordinates and have a look around. You should find the cache easily enough, although if you arrive around game time you'd be better off coming back later. Hey! Here’s an idea: why don’t you go and cheer on the Blue Jays while you’re waiting for the coast to clear?!

Log only cache - so don’t forget to bring your own writing implement.

The cache is now a little higher than it was originally. So, if anyone visits with someone who found it already, it won't be in exactly the same place... so keep looking!

This cache is dedicated to our friend Von-Horst, for whom the Rogers Centre is a second home. We’re sure he’d have already placed a cache here himself... if he didn’t actually live over 5500 kilometres away in Wales!

New note (March 29th 2008):
We can't help noticing that many of the DNFs reported for this cache fall into one (or both) of two categories:
1) The cacher(s) attempted it around game time (which the listing above specifically advises against) and gave up almost immediately, making it more of a 'did not try' than a 'did not find'.
2) By their own admission, the cacher failed to take advantage of the hints provided.

The result is a skewed Finds vs. DNFs total, which makes the cache appear much harder than it truly is. This can potentially put other people off trying this cache, who would otherwise enjoy it. Consequently, we'd really appreciate it if you could hold off logging that DNF until you've given up all hope of ever finding it! Thanks.
