He-grottan eller Jättestôva Dalslands största grotta Dalsland's bigest cave
He-grottan eller Jättestôva Dalslands största grotta Strax öster om Heden i Dalskog, eller Hea som det heter på lokalmål, ligger Dalslands största naturliga grotta, Jättestôva eller He-grottan. Den ligger i Rannebergets naturreservat. Grottan är 14 meter djup och bortåt två meter både på höjden och bredden. Lämningar efter bortplockade stalaktiter syns på väggarna. Längst in slutar grottan i en rämna som verkar leda in i berget. Enligt en berättelse skulle en hund ha släppts in där. Hunden kom inte tillbaka men dök efter några dagar upp i grottan vid Bore kulle i Ör (GCVZPQ). I gången mellan de två grottorna ska två jättar ha mötts en gång för länge sedan. Gången var så smal att de två inte kunde komma förbi varandra, stället började de slåss. De slåss fortfarande och kommer att göra det tills någon människa kan ta sig fram och kasta ett hårstrå mellan dem. He-grottan har verkligen satt fantasin i rörelse. Det berättas att den som går förbi grottan kan få synen förvänd. En flicka som gick förbi nedanför berget mötte oväntat sin mor. - Kommer I här? frågade flickan häpet. Men mamman svarade inte. Plötsligt såg flickan att det är skogsfrun som strax slog ihop händerna tre gånger och så var hon försvunnen. Naturen runt grottan är dramatisk med höga berg, branta stup och jätteblock. I närheten finns också fina utsiktsplatser *. Här finns stigar som lämpar sig för strövtåg och enligt Edvard Mats har skolorna ofta naturstig i de här bergen.
