Geocache Description:

To protect yourself, before handling the cache container, make sure you disinfect it, then all contents you handle, including pencil, pen and log, plus anything you leave. Please no "Found," or "TFTC" or a smiley face or some other emoticon - just that you in fact disinfected all, and maybe add something more about the cache, or area, or your travels.

Fun in the Bosque (riparian woodland) - hiking, camping, horseback riding, fishing, picniking. A great place to see migratory birds, other wildlife, &c. After visiting this cache, try to put it back like you found it or even better than you found it - a chance to show off your skills and help the cache owner.

This is a thematic nature-oriented cache. Have fun but be heads-up for snakes & other Bosque things that tend to bite, sting, &c, although usually not a problem.

Turn east at N34°03.623’ W106°53.502’ & go to N34°03.692’ W106°52.572’ to the entrance & then park at or near N34°05.097’ W106°52.348’. So, now, off you go to the cache but don't forget hat, water & camera. The trail surface was especially built for wheelchair access but wheelchair persons or persons with other physical limitations should not go it alone, but with family or friends.

This place is one of 21 such riverine parks developed by the Save Our Bosque Task Force, along the Rio Grande. This particular part is the first of several works to build the Socorro Valley Bosque Trail from San Antonio to San Acacia (near where Wolverine Cache is located). Please practice Leave No Trace (CITO). You may encounter some litter due to some people who just don't get it and thus disrespect the land. So, if you would, try and nab some of that and pack it out. Thanks. Enjoy...
