We are on vacation this week and just doing fun things close to
home. On Saturday, we found our way to Wild Animal Safari. On
Sunday on our way to Fernbank to see the Snake and Lizard Exhibit
and take in the Coral Reef IMAX movie, we stopped for a bite to eat
and planned our day for Monday. Sam decided he wanted to hide a
cache, so I agreed to help him out. He is such a smart kid. We
found a good hiding spot, but as much as I have been to this park,
I was a bit turned around after all the exploring we did. Since Sam
had led the way to the cache site, I had to rely on him to get us
back to the car. He must have some sort of built in navigation
system. He pointed and said, ".41 miles that-a-way." "WHAT-a-way?",
I asked. To which he replied,"157 degrees, magnetic." He then
said," Oh, by the way, the next closest cache to here is
Thank You , which would be .22 miles at 307.21 degrees -
magnetic." I thanked him and we found our way back to the car, just
like he said. If you're as smart as my soon to be six year old, you
can find this cache. Congrats Griff-N-Go on FTF honors!
