Located on the old K I Sawyer Air Force Base, Now the Marquette
International Airport, a great place for a picnic or swim.
International Airport, Little Trout lake has BBQ areas, a Pivilion,
Swim Area and trails for hicking. It is a mostly flat area with
some gentile rolling hills. Take the kids and enjoy.
Take a walk around Little Trout Lake On the old K.I. Sawyer AFB.
There is a old nature trail around the lake with a few signs
marking tree species and Picnic/BBQ Area as well as a Swiming Area.
If you look closely you will find a Camo Tupperware type container
filled with: A Macro Mini Coin, An American Flag, rubber Awmt wrist
band,Moose Wallet,assorted refer maginets, memo pad, a partyglo
necklace, 2 bead necklaces and 3 slide flutes.
