The MidWest Travelbug & Geocoin Exchange Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ian&Sue - Team Pathfinder: We are archiving this cache as we are leaving for Karratha and not returning for sometime.

Upon our eventual return we will rebuild the hotel in another very safe location.

At the time of archiving the only TB present was the Smurf which we will remove and place into another cache.

Geocache Description:

ATTENTION – NO OFF-ROADING IN THIS AREA ie. Don’t use the track along the powerlines – to reach the cache you can drive to within 100 metres on the road, park and then walk – there may appear to be tracks leading in from other directions but you are breaking the law to use them as this is a regional park.

A Secure Site for TravelBugs and Geocoins to rest whilst awaiting the next ride.

Do you have a travel bug that you might have shown around but need to drop him off because you are no longer heading where he wants to go?

Don't have time to seek out a cache to place him or the cache you found just doesnt seem appropriate?

Looking for a totally secure spot where he will be safe until the next lift?

Well here's the answer to your TB prayers!!

This ammo container cache box is located in an area which is safe, secure and sheltered from the elements. Its relatively easy to access when passing through town and can be used as a set down point for Bugs who have had a look around and now are travelling north or hoping to go back down south.

As an added bonus for the owners of TB's who choose this facility to spend a night or two we are offering a complimentary make-over. ie - we are able to refresh ziplock bags, attach new laminated mission statements, etc etc. And owners if you would prefer your TB to stay around Geraldton for a while after its stay please let us know and we will assist in dropping him into another nearby cache.

All a part of the MidWest hospitality!

Enjoy your stay.

Please sign your guest into and out of the facility in the visitors log book.

Small trade items most welcome.
