Geocache Description:

Just off the main loop of Bison Trail on Tunnel Island in the heart of Kenora, Ontario.

The cache is a Lock & Lock container wrapped in camo tape and contains a log, pencil, sharpener, a fish keychain, folding scissors, two "rare" gems, and an IBM Learning keychain. The Tunnel Island hiking trails are a well kept secret in Kenora. After being in the area for over 25 years I just discovered them 2 years ago. Here is a trail map that will help you get started. Tunnel Trail Route To get to the cache you will need to park your car at the trail head, and hike approximately 3.5km. If you hike the main loop it's about a 5km round trip and you can find Big Dadoo #3 & #4 along the way. If you'd like to preview some of the sights on the trail have a look at these photos.
