Football Park Traditional Cache
rosmo: The 49ers will play their first game at the new Levi Stadium this week-end. It is time for us to say good-bye to the Candlestick Park for the football fans.

Walk up the trail about ten minutes from Eye of the Monster Cache. There is a round plastic container buried under smaller reddish brown rocks a little off the path. Do the geocacher's stuff and step over to the right for views of San Bruno Mountain, Cow Palace, and the Bay. Continue on the path to the farthest west to start up to Monster Mountain Cache. On the way down, you may have a glimpse of the ballpark orange seats, full views of downtown San Francisco, Twin Peaks, and Bay Bridge.
The cache location has no PO or any plants. The best time to visit is in the morning to early afternoon, when there are dogs walkers around. I enjoyed the walk and the views. I hope you do as well.
