Geocache Description:


Hennops River Hiking Trail

The Hennops River Hiking trail runs between Centurion Park Cricket Stadium and the Zwartkop Nature Reserve and is approximately 13 km long. The route can be started from:

South Street (S25 51.744 E28 11.679),
Zwartkop Lapa (S25 49.959 E28 07.397),
Lenchen Avenue North and South (S25 51.429 E28 11.512), as well as
The Clubview Shopping Centre (S25 50.430 E28 10.129).



During the rainy season this is a luscious green area, but during the dry season City Parks does not maintain it that well. Pity Though!
Visitors can walk the 13 kilometres from Supersport Centurion to Zwartkop Nature Reserve. It takes approximately five hours to complete the route…

Original Contents of the cache:
* You guessed it, a logbook and pencil
* Small flashlight
* Key ring
* Tot glass with SA Geocache logo
* Heads / Tails decision maker
* 100,000 Turkish Lira Coin
* Glow in the dark mini-sticks

The cache was a small camouflage lock-and-lock container, but temporary replaced with a micro at a new location, located approximately 4m above ground, but easy to get to. The area is accessible 24/7 so there are some muggles, so be on the lookout and it is not recommended doing this one after dark.
