Geocache Description:

A pleasant walk amongst some fine specimans of trees with the path going along some lovely open views of Strathearn

This is a circular walk, which takes you through St Thomas' Wood to Alichmore Lane, half way through the walk, you can continue using the network of public right of ways to the Balloch Road if so desired, however, if you choose to go the way we had intended, you will pass two carved posts(one of which has two carvings) which continue our theme from The River Earn walks, "The Wobbly Bridge" and "The Trolling Shirt" The three carvings which reflect Crieff's History, are called Water Pipe Arm, Six Hands Waving At The River and Fresh Water. Parking is at Stuart Crystals' Car Park, the start of the walk is just over the road and is sign posted to Crieff. This in actual fact takes you to Alichmore Lane just off Bridgend, where you can then walk back to the car and perhaps have some refreshments at Stuart Crystal or Crieff Garden Centre. Look out for the "Fruity Cow"!!!
Please take a pencil with you!
