Placed to honor all of the veterans of Baldwyn.

Cache is not at the posted coordinates!

This is an offset cache that will require you to take a heading and follow it for a pre-determined distance. Have fun and enjoy your time here.

When this cache was created, there was no such thing as a complex computer that everyone carried in their pockets called a cell phone. While you can use a cell phone to find this cache, you will most likely have to have a stand alone app other than the Geocaching app to project a waypoint. A good old trusty Garmin GPSr will serve you well here. This is not a standard park and grab although by now, everyone should have seen this type of hide. To find the prize you must first go to the posted coordinates and orient yourself facing exactly 270 degrees with your back touching the American flagpole. You must have your GPSr set to display true North. Now, strike out on a heading of 234 degrees for a distance of 226 feet. Once at this destination, you will be looking for an un-painted waterproof match safe like you can get at any discount store. It is non-magnetic. You will not have to cross any barriers to get to this cache.
