Geocache Description:

Easy path either side of the Durham bridge after crossing from route 8.

Small lock and lock, usual trading items, log book, and pencil. This was quite a popular swimming hole at one time. There used to be a rope hanging from the bridge and quite the acrobatics put on from the dare-devil kids during the heat of the summer. It's seldom to see any action here now as the river bed has changed. Cache is hidden among the rocks. The hint will help narrow it down. Be WARNED there is a steel rod sticking in the ground under the bridge. It's in plain sight, but please watch for it and don't let the kids go charging into the area before you check it out.
