Not far. No trail, but open woods, BIG trees, lush sun-dappled ferns and moss, and a nice stream.
This hide was inspired by Treequest, who has over 100 caches hidden! Good geocaching takes us to pleasant places. Hope this measures up. Enter the woods from parking at N 41 19.995 W 074 49.376. Terrain rating comes from steep decline into the open woods. Steep decline can be avoided by traveling north from parking before venturing into the woods. From then on, your travel is relatively unhindered. Cache is a 1 quart plastic jar with a screw lid.
