This cache is placed at the sight of my first cache find, on the
10th of June 2001. The cache was called
Melbourne - Kiwi Connection, and was one of only about 15
caches in Victoria at the time.
I'm placing a cache here to commemorate my reaching 1,000 cache
finds, after 6 years of caching. Certainly not the fastest 1,000 in
the game, but I've enjoyed most of them and this is where it all
began.
Unfortunately the location, which was never the most scenic to
begin with, has become something of a rubbish dump of late. To get
to the cache you will need to walk around this. But there are no
broken bottles or anything nasty in the immediate cache vicinity.
If you're searching in the rubbish you've got the wrong place.
Cache is hidden in the way that all caches were back in 2001 -
in a hidey hold covered in rocks and leaves!
