Greetings,

It has been a while since I first looked at this cache. I can't find any recent responses about maintaining this cache so for the time being it will be archived and removed from the active cache listings. We are no longer leaving caches stay disabled for extended periods of time.

Groundspeak and the geocaching community appreciate your contributions to geocaching and I hope to see this cache back in operation soon.

If you can get it back up and running in the next week or so contact me to get it re-listed. Otherwise plan to move it slightly and set up a new cache page.

[green]Most problems can be solved with good communication so reply back to the reviewer and we will do everything possible within the guidelines to get your cache published. It is best to give me as much information as possible instead of saying nothing at all. This will speed up the process and we can get your cache published. [/green]

Geocache Description:

The cache is located in a small roadside park in Crystal City along MO 61/67. Southbound side.

When I was young and still living at home, my mom loved playing games with her three sons. I, probably more than any of my brothers, enjoyed Yahtzee, Scrabble, and other popular adult games.

Yahtzee is one of my favorites to this day. I thought it would be nice to place a cache that incorporated my love for family games. This park is a great place to play Yahtzee! too, since it has about a dozen picnic tables.

The coordinates are a registered waymark. Please log your visit on Waymarking.com.

To find the final coordinates for the cache you will need to read the plaque at the Waymark and answer the following questions.

1. Who are the two men honored by this memorial park?

2. When was this park dedicated?

3. Where were they from? Where did they work?

4. What is the 12th word on the plaque?

Using the 10 key numeric system of the alphabet on your cell phone, you will need the following information for the final coordinates. These clues were updated and verified at 6:28 am on July 11, 2007. Coordinates were also verified.

N 38° _ _._ _ _
(Checksum for number before the decimal is 5, after the
decimal is 12.)
(the first number in the numerical order of the month this park was dedicated, third letter of the second man's first name).(first letter of the 2nd word in the company the land was gifted from, the third number in the year this park was dedicated, and 1st letter of the last name of the man from Missouri.)
W 090° _ _ . _ _ _
(checksum for the number before the decimal is 5, after the decimal is 24)
(The first letter in the name of the municipality responsible for this park, first letter of the 68th word on the plaque). (first letter of the second word of the name of the company founded by the second man, sixth letter of the 12th word on the plaque, and sixth letter of the state the second man is from.)

Before placing this Geocache, I rolled all five dice. If any visitor rolls the same sequence as I rolled, they will earn a special geocoin prize. To make this more of a challenge, the red die, must be the same as my red die. The other four dice can be in any order. This will make the geocache contents special for some time to come. Though you may play Yahtzee! as many times as you like, each registered member may only submit one Yahtzee! Lottery sequence until the coin is won. At that time, I will roll again and begin the contest over.

Also please post your Yahtzee! scores. I would like to maintain a running scoreboard for the geocache log. If you have to play at home before you come that's okay.

Please include photos in your logs whenever possible! I love photos! The Crystal City Parks Board is also interested in your comments about the park.

Congratulations to LFrank and Denmother for First to Find Honors.
