The Missing Cacher Series—Part 10—The Finale! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Dr Horrible: After long consideration, it's time to let this one go. I just can't think of a way to make a replacement container for this cache that is as fun as the original. The Missing Cacher Series will probably go away someday and make way for some new fun. Farewell Missing Cacher Part 10! Thanks everyone for the fun with this series!

Geocache Description:

This is one in a series of caches that follow the path of a fictitious geocacher who has gone missing.

Attention all cachers! The Missing Cacher has been located! Now can YOU find him?

It's been a long road for myself since I stumbled upon the crime scene from where the authorities first found evidence of the Missing Cacher at Standing Bear Lake. The battle against killer deer, radioactivity, dynamite and the difficult terrain in tracking down the Missing Cacher almost made me give up at times, but like all geocachers, I couldn't let a good mystery keep me from finding what I was looking for.

No wonder the authorities couldn't find the Missing Cacher...he was about a half mile away from where the evidence was found! The area that I found him is dense with vegetation, enough so that my GPSr lost all satellite signals when I neared the crime scene. Once I did receive a signal again, I let my GPSr average 100 readings, so hopefully your GPSr will get you close. If you find your coords to be different from my own, please feel free to post your coords with your logs.

Please be careful when handling the cache because it's in a difficult to access area. Please make sure the cache returns to its hiding spot since it isn't far off a trail used by fisherman at the lake. I hope you enjoy this cache--the last of the Missing Cacher Series.
