Geocache Description:

Use Geoscouting to Promote Scouting
This cache is located in Endicott Park in the City of Brookfield. It is a 600 ml clear plastic Lock & Lock container. Cache name modified Dec 25, 2010 to reflect the series name used in the Boy Scout Geocaching Merit Badge.

The best way to the cache is to park in the Endicott Park parking lot and take a "trail" that starts at the far south-west corner of the soccer field. During spring melt and heavy rain it can be quite wet. This park was originally purchased by the Elmbrook School District as the site for a future elementary school. The school was never built and the land was obtained by the Brookfield City Park System. They have doubled the size of the park. The purpose of this cache is to draw your attention to the landscaping around the park entrance sign. This was done as an Eagle project by a Scout from Troop 71, sponsored by St. John Vianney Church in Brookfield. This was one of over 100 Eagle projects in the Potawatomi Area Council during 2006. An application for a Geocaching Permit has been submitted to Bill Kolstad, Director of the Department of Parks for the City of Brookfield. Find any three caches in the series Trail to Eagle by Potawatomi Area Council and receive a free patch for all members of your team.
