Geocache Description:



Hawk Falls is part of the mud run natural area and the park will not allow caches at the falls that's the reason for the multi. Park in the lot on 534 and follow the guard rails for a 100 feet or so and you will see the start of the trail. The trail is about .6 mile long you will cross the stream on some stepping stones so no high heels. Stage 1 is a trail sign with two words on it. Multiply the # of letters in word 1 by the # of letters in word 2 remember the number for stage 2. Now before you go running back to the parking lot the reason for this cache is to see the falls so keep going down the trail for a few more feet hang a right and pass through the Rodie-Tunnel and your at the falls. Stop dip your feet in the cold pool, contemplate life for awhile. Now scamper up to the parking lot for stage 2. Now for stage 2 take the # from the sign add it to 41 00 645 for the north #. Add the sign # to 75 38 047 for the west #. Stage 2 is hidden here because 90 years ago my grandfather had his home on this very spot and planted the object the cache is hidden in. There's 6 lottery tickets in the camo pill bottle 3 for FTF 2 for STF 1 for TTF Thanks to Ranger Josh for the ok. to use the park for this hide. He would like everyone to stay on the marked trails at all times.
