Piedmont Trail Cache
This is a simple to find ... easy to get to ... little cache. It is located along another of the great Greensboro trails ... The Piedmont Trail. Like some of the other caches I've placed ... I just want you to try this trail ... this part of the trail from 220 to where it crosses at the upper end ... is only about 3 miles ... give it a try. From the upper end ... the cache is less than .2 miles from the parking area ... good after work/school cache. Like many of the Greensboro trails ... unfortunately "thar be goats" ... please pick up something on your way out ... every little bit helps ... I was rewarded with 6 beer cans and a cardboard wrapper for another six pack. Oh well ....
Trail is heavy with tree cover to and near the cache ... the above reading is with a 20 foot accuracy ... so if you need to ... check out the photos for a hint.
Please avoid attracting attention ... lot of folks use the trail ... please recover to avoid accidental discovery. Enjoy!
