Geocache Description:

This is located just off Hwy 45 at the Snake River. Take the old highway road in front of the convenience store and go down to the old highway Bridge. Then turn East (left) into the museum driveway through the large metal gates. Park behind the White building in the gravel parking lot. The nature trail starts through the gate. If the metal driveway gate is shut, the museum is closed. The park is open 8AM to 8PM.

This park is one of the most interesting places that I have found while out geocaching. It is a very family friendly place and has a ½ mile loop walking path with different “interesting” displays that the museum has placed about. My kids tell me that this park is one of their favorite places to take a walk.

The actual museum is only open by appointment. I believe you can contact the nearby convenience store if you want to find out how to make an appointment to see the museum.

As you walk about, please stay on the trail and be respectful of the items you will see. There is a small cemetery at one end of the park.

You do not need to move any of the exhibits or dig in the brush to find this cache.

Some of you have been to this park before to find the old ferry museum multi GCKJH6 that was here. Well it is gone, so come back again and enjoy finding the new cache.
