KAU OUTPOST!!!

Off Highway 11 just past Hano Hano H.O.V.E. is what appears to be opening soon "Kau Outpost". This looks like a great place to stop, stretch your legs and maybe eat, shop or whatever. The owner of this establishment is a talented woodcarver. He is well known for his tikis and koa bowls. It will be cool to see what happens here-looks like a lot of potential for this well planned project. Will keep you posted of the "Grand Opening".


The outpost has opened. The store contains eclectic selection of interesting items. Some new, some used, some handmade and most affordable. The sign says there is internet service and block ice available. The shop owner is aware of a cache hidden nearby. Though I'm not sure he fully understood what I was talking about. I've heard there is homemade Mexican food (tamales, enchiladas and sides) available as well. Yum!
