Cache is located along Dunhams Trail.
This cache is located on Weaver Lake not to far from the Rec Site and the road is accessible with 2 wheel drive. Take your time,... part of the fun is in getting there.....right???? The coordinates: N49 20.909 W121 51.997 are for the trail head near the Parking area. The route to the trail can be blocked by campers but just weave your way through.
The walk to the cache is relatively easy to navigate and has a fairly good GPS signal, trail is marked with orange markers and flagging tape so keep your eyes on the trees.
There are a few places to camp, picnic or fish and it is a great place to spend an afternoon. If you decide to keep going around the lake, the trail has a spectacular spot with a view looking down the lake. total distance around the lake is about 7km with the second half spending more time closer to the water. This is our first cache and is "one" of our favorite day tripper trails... we hope you enjoy it too!!
