Medvedje Brdo je iz zgodovine znano kot križišce
medvedjih poti, danes pa bolj po lepem razgledu.
Medvedje Brdo (Bear's Hill) is known from the history for being a
bear crossroad of some sort. And with a view!
Danes je bolj malo medvedov, ki bi hlacali tukaj okrog, so pa v
casu Jugoslavije v hribu zgradili raketno izstrelišce, ki
naj bi bilo usmerjeno proti zahodu. Danes boste tu srecali v
glavnem krave in drobnico.
Zaklad boste našli brez težav, ce pridete s kolesom, bo
dokaj naporno, a boste nagrajeni z izvrstnim razgledom dalec
naokoli, še posebej na jasen dan. Priporocenih
izhodišc je vec: Logatec, Godovic, Hotedršica,
Idrija,...
V bližini zakladka je tudi razgledišce z razglednim
kamnom, kjer lahko preberete, kaj vse vidite. Ce pridete z avtom,
je hoje cca 10 min od N45 58.249 E14 07.922.
Po opravljenem iskanju lahko stopite le nekaj korakov nižje do
kmeckega turizma Šinkovec, kjer vas bodo prijazno postregli
z domaco hrano (01/750-1139).
Today, there are not many bears poking around but underneath the
cache location there used to be a rocket launch site during
Yugoslavian times. Nowadays, cows are the most you'll probably meet
around here.
Finding this cache isn't really difficult but coming up here (a
little over 800m altitude) on a clear day can reward you with a
great view. Check sourroundings a little - there's a stone with a
map of what you can see around.
The place is very nice for cycling (not flat!) and the best startup
locations are Logatec, Godovic, Hotedršica, Idrija... If you
come here with a car, the walk is less than 10 min from N45 58.249
E14 07.922.
After finding the cache, you can have a meal at the local gostilna
