De la Croix de Langenthal part un chemin forestier qui mène au lieu-dit Stampfloecher. Dans la tradition orale, il est dit que ces pierres à cupules ont servi aux habitants des villages environnants à piler le grain alors qu'ils étaient réfugiés là-haut durant la guerre de Trente Ans.
