The hottest part of the summer is drawing to an end. There was not much in the way of events for September, so our group decided it was time for us to do another one. We will meet from 8 - 10 am for breakfast, tall tale swapping, Geocoins/Travel Bug trading. They have provided us with our own area, so come hungry. Afterwards for those that just have to go caching, there are plenty in the area.
There is a select group of cachers that must achieve the highest number of caches. for them, the group has been and will continue to put out more caches for them to find. Something for everyone, from very easy 1/1 caches to 5/5's. Some of our new cachers that joined at the last event have had time to try their hand at searching for the elusive but rewarding cache containers. Now is the time for the seasoned cachers to give them some pointers to improve their track record.
Door prizes gratefully accepted.
There will be a log to sign for those that are attending. If you are bringing items to swap and discover, there will be a list for you to record the tracking numbers. Or to make it easier, preprint a list of names and numbers and we will compile a list for anyone that wants it.
This area is accessible by golf cart and has a cache on the property. If you have a golf cart and want to bring it, there are many caches that can be done while riding it around the Villages.
Because this will be held at the Golden Corral Restaurant, please bring no food for consumption during the event. They promised they will have an adequate supply for all of us.
