Why not stop a few minutes and find a cache at the side of a road less than 100m from SH1. While you wait for your GPS to settle down next to the row of pine trees you could speculate how this road got its name.
The cache is a camo painted 360ml sistema container. The contents are log book, stashnote, pencil, pencil sharpener and a few items to swop.
