Geocache Description:

This cache is a part of a "Taste of Madison" tour. Cache is handicap accessible.

Cache should need not a lot of explanation. This area was, in years past, a major contributor to the Madison commercial well-being. While still heavily populated with businesses, the area is not the active, bustling area that it was when there was a major department store just across the street for it to work in symbiosis with. The past ten years have seen practically every store in the strip change hands at least once and most of them, two or three times. The Jumbo part of the name has been through at least 5 proprietors in this length of time.
