Come to enjoy the campfire, come to share your geocaching
stories, and/or search for temporary caches
hidden.
CHECK IN:
STARTING AT 6:30 PM, at the Konkel
Park Shelter. Coordinates will be available for downloading* to
your GPS receivers WHEN THE TEMP CACHES ARE IN PLACE until
7:30 -7:45 PM.
All participants will need to complete and turn in a
Greenfield Parks & Recreation registration form at sign in.

*Special thank you to the Wisconsin Geocaching Association
for loaning us the cables to download to most GPSr's.
URBAN CAMPFIRE:
Join us for an "urban" campfire in one of the back sections of the
park from 7:00- 10:30 PM. If you
arrive after the designated check in time, come to the back of the
park to sign in. (should be at N42 57.380 W 87 58.697).
If finding temp caches is not your thing, you are certainly
welcome to join us around the campfire! There will be several
picnic tables available to us here so Travel bugs can be swapped
and Geocoins shared.
TEMPORARY CACHES:
The Tapps and AuntieNae will have temporary caches hidden in Konkel
Park (12 temporary caches) and Pondview Park (3 temporary caches).
Special thanks to GreendaleSRT4 for
hiding 3 temps plus 2 regular caches in the Greendale Community
Center Park.

Please post a note below indicating how many adults and children
will be attending for our planning purposes. Thank you
FYI's:
Prior Geocaching experience and your own GPS receiver is
required to participate in the geocaching portion of this event.
Bring your own GPS receivers, flashlights, headlamps, non-alcoholic
beverages and camp chairs.

Event Attributes: no dogs, picnic tables available, restrooms
available and open during the event, kid friendly, public transit
available, most areas will be stroller accessible.
The temporary caches hidden for this event may be logged with an
“attended” log, just name the cache with each the post.
Want to bring something? We could use fixings for S'mores.
If you would like to bring graham crackers, marshmellows or
Hershey's, just post a note. Thanks
The event is FREE however donations to
offset the related costs will be accepted at check
in.
Weather? This event will be held rain or shine. The downpour in
2006 did not "dampen" the spirts, just made us move the meet &
greet portion under the shelter.
