Geocache Description:

Camo lockbox in churchyard.

Rolling hills and wide skies...it is hard to imagine a community being here. While it had potential for growth, the fledgling community heard its death knell when the railroad bypassed it in 1912, and never grew beyond a school, the church, and a post office. Arthurvale Church was built in 1907, and celebrated its 100th this spring. The church is only used occasionally, but is open to viewing. Please respect the history of this building.
Cache is easily found in a HUGE lilac hedge bordering the cemetery. Original contents are Sal E Mander TB, I heart something cow fridge magnet, led keylight, town and county pins, and a compact flash card for ftf.
