For obvious reasons, this could be the Lake Wyola State Park
Cache, but as the story goes, we were searching out a good hiding
spot with the girl's Papa, when, all of a sudden from behind me on
the trail I hear Papa say....'Karleigh! How in the world did you
get gum in your hair!!??' No explanation to this mystery was ever
found, and we wonder if the person for whom the recreation area is
named ever had this problem? Hmmm...doubtful!
The 2 Stage Puzzle - 42N 30.ABC 72W 26.XYZ
After parking you'll notice a large white house (see coords
below), please proceed toward the house and take a look around -
you'll need the following for Stage 1:
1. Find the wooden sign for the park - count the total number of
letter "R's"; also notice the alternate name for the recreation
area
2. Find and count the number of animal statues in front of the
house
3. An "investigative spirit" for finding parts XYZ
ABC; where A = the number of statues (x3) and BC = double the
number of "R's" in the sign.
XYZ; where X = # of sets of double consonants in the alternate
name of the park and YZ = the total land acres of the park
(+14)
These coordinates will lead you to
Stage 2 - A marker on the nature trail. You'll need from this
marker: 1. The number of letters in the name of the object (x4)
(Updated courtesy of the FTF crew) The Final: take the number
from Stage 2 and walk this many paces approximately West and a bit
