This cache is a small plastic container in a wooded, hilly, weedy corner lot. While you won’t have to worry about fences, you might have to climb up and down an embankment if you don’t look for the flat entrance.
When you get there, you’ll need to park close to the corner since there isn’t parking further down the one lane road. The region is really beautiful and I hope you enjoy your travels through the area. There is also a campground next door for those of you that might need a place to relax after a day of caching.
The “town” of Glenbrook no longer exists but it was once a stage coach stop, set up in 1867, since it’s the half way point between Middletown and Lakeport. Soon after came a health resort and then a post office was established in 1871. In 1911 there was a new post office built in Cobb and the one in Glenbrook was closed.
