A geological feature to explore and very beautiful view. Bring your
flashlight (hint) and camera!
An unusual geological feature not commonly found in this type of
rock. Although the land is privately owned, it is not posted and
the area is visited regularly. We have used a canoe to get to the
spot, with a 2 km hike, and got there by hiking only. If going by
canoe or boat, go to the public boat launch at N46° 25.692' -
W83° 55.163'. Canoe to the trail start at N46° 25.151' -
W83° 55.254'. This would make a great ski trip in the winter. A
groomed snow machine trail passes not far from the spot.
Time from Closest Car Park: 1 hour, allow two hours
