The above coordinates will take you to an Iron Pipe in the middle of a meadow, from here the cache is approximately 60 paces to the north.
Since I am a Land Surveyor I decided to hide my first cache in a place I discovered while I was working. Sometimes my job takes me to some very cool places that most people don't get to see. The cache is relatively easy to find but the terrain could be pretty wet in the winter, so you might want to bring rubber boots if you go in the rainy season.
PLEASE DO NOT DISTURB THE PIPE FOR IT IS A SURVEYING MONUMENT, AND IT IS UNLAWFUL TO DO SO.
There is a little pullout for parking off of S. Palix Road and the elk trail should start you on your way.
The cache is a 4x6 inch container with some surveying items in it and one TB to start!
