Even though
this is an Oktoberfest type event, there will be no alcohol at the
event.
This will be a family event
with lots of fun for all.
We recognize
this is on Thanksgiving weekend and some will not
be able to attend but we also feel that this would be a great time
to
bring non cachers visiting for the holidays out to an event to
introduce them to
geocaching as well as the spirit of Oktoberfest.
That being
said, we will look into some apres event adult activities. Stay
tuned!
As well, if
there are those interested in camping, let us know. I will likely
be camping myself.
Food:
Lunch will be
prepared keeping with the Oktoberfest theme. On the menu will
be:
Oktoberfest
Sausage on a bun
Sauerkraut
Potato
Salad
Root Beer
(and other soft drinks and water)
The food will
be BBQed up by volunteers and will be additional to event and park
costs.
The prices will be only to cover the cost of the food and as with
the event fees,
any excess will go to the K/W Food Bank.
About Laurel

to the beach area,
trails, playgrounds, and many campsites.
