About this cache:
You will be at a lookout point with a beautiful 360° view point in
Pafos which is easy to reach.
Near the Fabrika hill is the wish tree reachable from the main
street.
Public transport:
(Bus No. 10 or 15), bus stop is directly in front of the wish
tree.
The Fabrika hill:
Into the rocks of the Fabrika hill, many graves and burial chambers
were dug where in medieval times a cotton wool spinnery was
located.
For couples of interest is maybe Agio-Agapetikus, the rock
chapel of the enamored in the east of the hill.
The burial chambers:
A big Terebinthe (pistachio tree) shades with its branches the
stairs of the grot of the holy Solomoni.
The holy Solomoni fled Palestine in 168AD for Cyprus and stayed in
this helinistic burial chamber.
A fountain at the bottom of the cave is said to alleviate eye
aliments.
The wish tree:

Those who knot a piece of cloth to the pistachio tree of the
holy Solomoni will have a wish fulfilled as soon as the cloth is
corroded.

Hier erwartet dich ein schöner 360° Panorama Aussichtspunt in Pafos
und ist sehr einfach erreichbar.
Direkt am Fabrikahügel befindet sich von der Hauptstrasse
erreichbar, der Wunschbaum.
Busverbindung:
(Bus Nr.10 oder 15),
Haltestelle ist direkt vor dem Wunschbaum.
Der Fabrika-Hügel:
In den Felsen
des Fabrika-Hügels wurden viele Gräber und unterirdische
Grabkammern geschlagen, in denen im Mittelalter eine
Baumwollspinnerei eingerichtet war.
Für Paare von Interesse ist vielleicht Agio-Agapetikus, die
Felskapelle der Verliebten an der Ostflanke des Hügels.
Die Grabkammern:
Eine mächtige
Terebinthe (pistazienbaum) wirft den Schatten ihrer Zweige über die
Treppe der Grotte der heilen Solomoni.
Die heilige war 168 aus Palästina nach Zypern geflohen und hatte
sich in dieser helinistischen Grabkammer niedergelassen.
Eine Quelle auf dem Grund der Höhle soll Augenleiden
mildern.

Wer oben an den Pistazienbaum der Grotte der heiligen Solomoni
ein Stück Stoff knotet, dem ist die Erfüllung eines Wunsches
gewiss, sobald sich der Stoff zersetzt hat.
