Geocache Description:

By an Historical Plaque

I have been thinking of placing a cache here for a long time as I drive by this on my way to and from work. Today after 16 years of working there, was the first time I actually stopped and read the plaque, and I found out something interesting about the area that I never knew before!

So, stop by and read the plaque too for this interesting story of the past, find the micro cache, then continue down the dirt road, keep to the left for a view of the Baie Du Dore. That big place across the bay is Bruce Power's "A" nuclear station.

Also make sure to not go into the woods behind as it is private property owned by Ontario Power Generation and they don't like trespassers!
