The Munchkins are excited to unveil another kid-friendly cache in Central Park! As before, they led the charge on everything from the name to the initial contents to the location and everything else in between. And this time, some twists! Be forewarned - the Munchkins are mischevious!
This spot is quite close to where they each learned to play soccer, and we scoured the area for days until a suitable hiding spot was located. We are huge fans of the Central Park Conservancy, but it appears that there are some tiny pockets of the park that haven't been "reclaimed" just yet, so we've spent the last few weeks cleaning the immediate area around our nook bit-by-bit until we felt it was "cache-ready". (We hope you agree more than the two park rangers who approached us our last time out, assuming we were picking plants instead of picking up trash...)
Included are a few small Munchkin-selected themed items, along with some gift cards for a nearby bookseller for the early finders. Congratulations to greyhoundlawyer for being FTF!
Please note - historically this cache has been difficult to maintain, and for the last few weeks/months it appears that someone or something really has it out for Love Bug. For the time being we are going back to a more "traditional" traditional cache that is pretty much standard issue. If you are the type who likes to read past logs, just know that the cache is temporarily a little less unique than it used to be. If this container lasts for a little bit, we'll add some of the fun back. Thanks.
