Geocache Description:

This is a walk over of about half a mile each way, mainly flattish on a sort of a path for most of the way. Muddy in places. Parking is available outside the Church.

Park outside the Church and follow the signs to the Holy Well and Chapel. The coordinates above are for the well, not the cache. The cache is some distance from the Well.
This is one of the most stunning Holy Wells in the County and is worth walk even if you don't cache.
The Chapel was originally the Parish Church until The Normans built the current Parish Church in the 12th Century. the Well Chapel was restored in the 15th Century and again in the late 19th Century.
Today the chapel is the largest well chapel in Cornwall. The location within the beautiful and wild Inny Valley is stunning and a walk up the valley is like a walk back through time to a very special place. We hope you enjoy this place as much as we do.

To find the cache answer the following questions:
In the Chapel is a blackboard with a notice to visitors - How many Pence(d)are visitors requested to place in the Box? =A
In which year was this board placed here? = BCDE
The door was replaced in more recent times, it is inscribed with the initals DJC and a year- What year? =FGHJ

The cache is at N50 AJ.CBH W004 A(B+D).(E+F)(J-F)(C-A)

Please be careful whilst hunting the cache, it's behind a single stone behind the tree in a large crack in the rock. Please hide carefully when finished. Thank you.
