Geocache Description:

can be a tough hike in summer. bring plenty of water!

This cache is near a great spot on the Barton Creek Greenbelt. The two springs are always flowing, even when the creek is bone dry. For the past couple of years, the nearby cave has been inhabited by an extremely large colony of Daddy Longleg Spiders. It really is quite a site, there must be millions of them, really! Being just off the main trail down by the creek, this spot also has quite a bit of traffic, so i tried to hide the cache just off a less traveled trail. Here's a waypoint to help out, N 30 15.548 W 097 49.411. The hint will tell you just a little more. This can be a tough hike in summer, so bring plenty of water. I wouldn't drink that cold spring water, but it is good for soaking a bandana to cool off with. The original contents are a muslin bag with small earth treasures inside, 1 shooter and 2 regular cat eye marbles, happiness token, ball chain, 2 free donuts, stash note, log book and pencil. The cache is a cammo taped dry gatorade container.
