Geocache Description:

A short walk from the Visitor's Center at the base of Mt. Greylock.

This cache is the same container in the same exact location as our original S&G's Rainbow Cache. It was originally a multi, but in the time that this cache has been here, we have had to repeatedly do maintenance on our rainbow markers, so we've eliminated that element. While the parking lot is open 24/7, the Visitor's Center is open daily incl. weekends from 8AM-9PM. There are bathrooms and nature displays inside incl. history of the CCC.
To the cache - You have a choice now in deciding which trail to follow.
1) The Bradley Farm Trail, a relatively easy 1.8 mile walk, begins at the northeast corner of the Visitor Center parking lot. A self-guided trail brochure can be found on the large trail sign. It's a fun family-friendly interpretive walk which will tell you about this land which was once farmed by one of the early settlers of Berkshire County, Ephraim Bradley. While this is not the most direct route to the cache, eventually it will bring you almost right to it.
2) The shortest route - Park in the Visitor's Center parking lot, walk up Rockwell Rd. and watch for a trail heading off the road on the left about .1 mi. This is the end of the Bradley Farm Trail so you are approaching the cache from the back.
