Here is the deal. Placing a signature has become boring. While on the hunt with my team we ran across Funky Monkey. She had little label stickers for her signature. My team thought that was awesome. Long story short, I ended up making and getting a my own ink stamp. Now I want to share in the fun.
Now, I do not mean anybody has to go out and get an ink stamp. I do not even have a stamp on site. What I want is a hand drawn picture of what your signature means to you. For example I want the next person to find the cache to go “wow the disco kid was here and here is his picture signature of a fro and dance shoes.” Try to come up with something. What will the next person think about when they find your mark? You can make a drawing ahead of time and just drop into the cache. Just put it on a 5/3 index card. Or perhaps you want to be spontaneous and make up a drawing signature on the spot with your own pen. It is up to you. I drew up the beast claw in few minutes. I hope you can tell, I can not draw. I will take anything as long as you put some thought into it! I am not sure what I am going to do with these masterpieces. I want to put them all up on the cache page. Maybe when I hit 52 I will make cheep little playing cards. I am not big into swag but that might work? The Fairborn catchers cards. It could be a hit? Who would be the joker, Terock, or maybe TeddyR or how about stevensheri for putting a cache 75ft in the air? GHS has to be number 1 or the ace for all the FTF's Oh how to find the cache.
1.You could stand at the coordinates provided. That should put you on the new path. If you find yourself there walk all the way to the other end of the path.
2. The better place to start would be in the parking lot.
3. Basketball? Tennis? Oh forget it just go west and walk between the two courts.
4. Now turn north and walk till you get to the light pole in the middle of the tennis court.
5. Turn to the brush line. Walk about west or just a little right but straight to the treeline.
6. Look into the brush line tree line and locate the big slag black asphalt pile. .
7. It is UNDER/IN the slag pile, back corner a big piece should pull up
Pull it out and either drop your masterpiece off or pull out one of the cards and do the doodle. Make sure to leave your signature and date also..
8. Return as found, go home, log it in and get the smiley face!
9. I will be checking on the cache as much as possible. I will take what is there and scan them, post them, and return them.
