God willin' and the creek don't rise. Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

E = Mc2: With the impending closure of Otter Creek Park, I am forced to archive my caches in the park. This one was picked up today. Hopefully, there will be other opportunities for caching here in the future.

Geocache Description:

Otter Creek Park offers over 2600 acres and more than 20 miles of trails for your enjoyment. This cache is located on the 3 mile Boone Hollow loop Trail. Get your free map at the Park Office or at the Nature Center FIRST! Please, be very careful crossing Otter Creek!

The Boone Hollow Trail takes one across Otter Creek and opens up a section of park that was previously off limits. The trail is divided into East and West sections, each offering different views and terrain. Parking is available at either the Blue Hole parking area on the North end or the Garnettsville Picnic area to the South. The trail leading to the crossing on both ends is marked as RCT, not BHT, so follow your map and GPSr to get to the trail. Be aware that you must wade across Otter Creek in order to access the trail!

This cache brings you to one of the best views I've seen of Otter Creek. There is a nice spot to sit, listen to the water, and just relax. It should be high enough that the creek won't wash it away. While you're sitting there, you can grab a cache, too.

Cache container is a 1-Liter Lock-n-lock, painted camoflauge. Enjoy!
