Geocache Description:

Easy Cache located in Rayleigh Mount.

This Cache is hidden in the Rayleigh Mount, the site that Rayleigh Castle once stood on, an old Motte and Bailey castle.

The Mount is owned by the National Trust and covers a small area close to the centre of Rayleigh, from the top of the mount you get good views to the North West and can see my house from here!

The Cache is a small plastic container and when placed contained a selection of the usual trinkets.

There are three entry points to the mount, the Mill Hall entrance N51° 35.268', E0° 36.347' is situated next to a car park (60p per hour). The cache should easily take less than an hour to find but why not have a wander around Rayleigh.

PLEASE NOTE - Access to Rayleigh Mount is free but times are restricted - The Mount is open 7am -6pm during summer and 7am - 5pm during winter.
