Located in the White's farm conservation area off of Glenallen St (Rt 202) in Winchendon
Marchmont, aka the White Castle, was built by Joseph Nelson White. He moved in in 1890 after taking several years to build. The Castle totaling 3 stories, had 20 rooms, 7 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. It was considered at its time the most elegant house in Winchendon. Now all that remains is the foundation. You are looking for a camo duct tape covered peanut jar filled with the usual cache goodies. The container is hidden in the old foundation. Parking coord's off of Glenallen St are at N42 41.966 W72 00.899. It is a .1 mile as the crow flies hike to the cache. At the fork in the path take the right fork for the shortest hike. Either fork will take you to the cache. If you take the left fork, you may notice some old electric poles leading up to the old castle foundation.
