Geocache Description:

Lead Your Horse To Water

Visited this area several months ago, when trying to track down Rock Quest. That cache has since been archived. There is probably still a berocca tube nearby which had a clue for Rock Quest.

Walking from the parking area to the cache site, you'll pass stables.

and several wetland lakes containing many different water birds. There were also plenty of rabbits about when the cache was placed, but they were too quick and I didn’t get a photo.

In the distance I also spotted an Orion doing Touch’n’Goes at Edinburgh.

The trees played havoc with Sat Loc, but after several averagings and waiting for the GPSr to settle, the above coordinates seem to work the best. You may need to allow a little time to let yours settle, or just use the cryptic hint.

Container is a recycled fruit container, containing a 2007 Red Jeep TB for the FTF (you'll be racing Four-fun who wants to get his hands on this), some Frogs and a few other swaps.

You can continue on the path and then turn right and follow the path back towards the parking area. When the path splits, take the right, otherwise you’ll need to jump a creek to get back to the parking area. This will make your walk about 1.5km in total.

Additionally you could follow the creek westwards for more exploring and end up near seawater after a couple of hundred metres. I got stuck by a water channel and didn’t want to jump it.

Don’t feel tempted to drive in if the gates are open. As they get locked without warning. On my walk they were open when I started off and were locked when I got back.

Enjoy
